Santillana Formación is Grupo Santillana's business unit responsible for postgraduate training. It was set up in 1998 to providing training over the internet, and is now one of the leading companies developing professional training solutions.

Santillana Training also offers tutorial sessions and seminars in the fields of communications and culture.

Postgraduate University Institute (IUP)

IUP is a higher-learning institute developed in conjunction with three prestigious Spanish universities (the University of Alicante, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Madrid's University of Carlos III) and Santillana Training. Founded in 2001, it is today the leading provider of online postgraduate training in Spanish and one of the business schools with the greatest number of students.

The IUP focuses chiefly on courses in business and finance, and it designs and provides bespoke training packages for companies aimed at fostering professional development.
