Cinco Días, with more than 30 years on the newsstands, is Spain's most veteran business and finance daily. The paper has witnessed continued readership growth to 90,000 readers, according to third-quarter EGM figures, ranking it as the second such paper in Spain. In 2009, despite the adverse economic climate, the paper increased its circulation to more than 33,000 copies (OJD).

The paper organizes the annual Cinco Días Awards for Innovation in Business, as well as a series of business and economic forums throughout Spain's major cities, presented by the presidents of Spain's autonomous regions.
