PDF documents

We use varying file formats on our site including Adobe Acrobat documents (*.pdf). These may be displayed directly in your browser window, depending on the configuration of your computer. If you want to save these files on your hard disk, right-hand click your mouse in Windows/click the options key on a Macintosh. In both cases, a dialogue window will appear in which you can specify the location where you want to save your file.

Flash animations

To correctly display flash animations, you must download a free plug-in that allows you to “decode” the multimedia graphics format. The size of PRISA’s interactive graphics is between 100 and 200 kilobytes.

The download time depends on the speed of your modem, your computer’s capacity, and the traffic on the Internet. If Internet conditions are good, and supposing a connection with a 56K modem, the graphics would take from 20 to 40 seconds to reach your computer:

Video and audio documents

The information published in PRISA.es is often supported by audio and video sequences. To access this type of content, you need a multimedia computer (equipped with soundcard and speakers) and programs able to read these files.
