RETINA: understanding talent and digital innovation

The digital revolution and its multiple consequences on society and the economy needed a new voice. RETINA was born in 2016 as an Ibero-American forum on technology that first brought together in Madrid leading global figures (including Richard Stallman, Matt Brittin and Mark Little) to address the key challenges and opportunities of the digital economy. RETINA will be continued as a forum for debate, but will now become a broader space for news, training and the sharing of experiences, all aimed at explaining the keys to digital transformation, innovation and talent. New forms of work, investing and entrepreneurship will be just some of the big issues explored by RETINA. The collaborative economy, Fintech and start ups will come under scrutiny, as well as big data, smart cities, the connected home, industry 4.0 and new payment methods. There’ll also be a look at how our personal lives are affected, with guidance on today's careers and private lives. RETINA will address new trends from the perspective of its journalists and employees, and a wide network of experts. New times require new languages: RETINA is a 100% digital and multimedia product that will embrace new narratives, seamlessly integrating video, audio, interactive infographics, and reports in a range of different formats.
