• Callejeros triumphs at the Television Academy awards

  Cuatro's hit show wins the award for best News and Information Programme for the second year running

  For the second year in a row, Callejeros has been honoured by Spain's Television Academy with the prize for best News and Informmation Programme. The work of the programme's director, Carolina Cubillo, was also recognised by the Academy.

  Members of the institution lauded the programme's "independence, rigor and professionalism" at the awards ceremony, held on July 2 at the Casino in Aranjuez. Cuatro's programme now has a total of 11 awards under its belt.

  Callejeros is broadcast on Fridays at 10.15pm
