Stage musical 40 El Musical to premier

40 Principales, radio channel, in collaboration with Drive and Gran Vía Musical, will present 40 El Musical on Thursday, October 15. The two-hour, two-act stage musical mixes romantic comedy with dramatic turns, and deals with friendship, loyalty, love, emotions and above all humor.

The live soundtrack includes a calatogue of 100 songs chosen from among the biggest Spanish and international hits that have been broadcast by Los 40 Principales. Among them are "Monday, Monday", by The Mamas and the Papas, "Tenía tanto que darte", by Nena Daconte, "Las de la intuición" by Shakira, "Vivir sin aire" by Maná, "La chica de ayer" by Nacha Pop, "Corazón partío" by Alejandro Sanz and "Marta, Sebas, Guille y los demás", by Amaral. The script is by film-maker Daniel Sánchez-Arévalo, director and screenwriter for the motion pictures AzulOscuroCasiNegro and Gordos.

The premier takes place at the Teatro Rialto Movistar in Madrid (Gran Vía, 54), at 10.30pm.
