Training
The UAM–EL PAÍS School of Journalism, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, was founded with the goal of training professionals in the practice of quality journalism. Its flagship program is the UAM–EL PAÍS Master’s Degree in Journalism, the longest-established postgraduate journalism program in the sector, delivered in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). The program consists of 22 months of training, including 12 months of paid internships at PRISA media outlets in both Spain and Latin America.
The School also offers a range of in-person and online journalism courses on various topics, including investigative and data journalism, the application of artificial intelligence in journalism, and podcast design and production.
Internships
PRISA offers a wide range of internship opportunities in the fields of news and media, education, culture, and the audiovisual industry. These internships provide an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience within a major company, collaborate with experienced professionals, share in their achievements, and make the most of this valuable learning period.
In Spain, we maintain a broad network of partnerships with numerous academic institutions, both public and private, through educational agreements with universities, training centers, and secondary education institutions. Internship applications are managed directly by our Human Resources departments in coordination with these academic institutions.
