El Huffington Post celebrates its fourth anniversary

30-06-2016

The editor-in-chief of El Huffington Post, Montserrat Domínguez, joined by her editorial team, served as host as politicians, journalists, bloggers, analysts and leading figures from the creative industries came together to congratulate the newspaper on its fourth anniversary.

Over the past four years, El Huffington has grown dramatically. According to data from Omniture for 2016 (January-June, inclusive) the news portal already has 9.4 million monthly unique users and boasts 55.6 million page views.

A number of the speeches thanked the community of readers for their loyalty, and “the word engagement, so fashionable today in social media, seems to sum up perfectly the dynamic relationship that means that readers feel involved with a media outlet; engagement is that power to seduce that means you keep on clicking from one story to another without knowing why."

Among the familiar faces at the Museum were Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba, Eduardo Madina, Juan Lopez de Uralde, Pablo Casado, Jordi Sevilla, Julio Rodriguez, Ana Rosa Quintana, Lorenzo Caprile, Sergi Arola and Esther Palomera.
