El País teams up with La Nación to strengthen its presence in Argentina

El País newspaper's global edition distributed alongside the Argentinian paper. The strategic alliance, coupled with regular daily sales, will enable El País to significantly strengthen its presence in Argentina, where it enjoys a circulation of over 13,000 copies.

The publishing agreement with La Nación -which has been published since 1999 and which has a circulation of 160,000 Monday through Friday and 250,00 on Saturdays and Sundays- follows a similar deal struck by El País with the Dominican media group Multimedios del Caribe last May covering distribution and advertising sales.

This latest agreement with with La Nación signals yet another step in El País's worldwide expansion. El País is already the world's most influential Spanish-language newspaper and, in the Americas, is published in Buenos Aires, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Brazil.
