Modesto Rubio, Plural Entertainment's managing director

Plural Entertainment has restructured its management team with the appointment of Modesto Rubio as new managing director. Rubio had till now worked as general manager for operations at the company. The new post covers the areas of management and content and had been occupied till now by Pedro Revaldería, who'll continue to work with Plural through his own production company.

The new managing director was born in Almería in 1961 and  holds a Law Degree from the Universidad de Granada and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. Prior to joining Grupo PRISA, Rubio worked as a regional manager for Publicitas Andalucia, as well as training consultant for several companies and as Sales Manager for the La Voz de Almería newspaper. Between 1996 and 2005, Rubio served as the Managing Director fot  Cadena Ser Almería radio station, and later at Locália Televisón, also in Almería. He subsequently managed the audiovisual business of Grupo PRISA in Aragon, acting as the Managing Director of both Chip Audiovisual and Factoría Plural between 2005 and July, 2009, when he became general manager for operations

Pedro Revaldería was for the past 18 months, content manager at Plural Entertainment. The company saw buoyant growth over this period and Mr Revaldería will continue to collaborate with Plural via his own company Evernia Media.
