PRISA’s news media now available for Kindle through Amazon

PRISA has signed a deal with Amazon.com which will see specially adapted versions of  El País, Cinco Días and As available on Kindle. PRISA thus becomes one of the first media groups to make content available in this way.

Grupo PRISA and the online retailer Amazon.com have signed a deal which will see the print editions of El País, Cinco Días and As available online through Amazon's store. Kindle, Amazon's e-book reader, is a portable device which enables users to download books, newspapers, magazines and blogs onto a high-resolution screen that looks and reads like real paper.

This latest initiative is evidence of PRISA's commitment to multi-distribution of the company's content by means of all the platforms available on the market. It also shows PRISA's commitment to innovation and its adaptation to ongoing technological changes.

Over the next few months, Kindle users in the US will be able to download and read the digital content of the three newspapers on both the Kindle and the the large-format Kindle DX, via the subscription page.
