CincoDías

Founded on March 3, 1978, Cinco Días is Spain’s oldest business and finance newspaper, providing comprehensive coverage of the country’s economic development from the democratic transition to today. Acquired by PRISA in 1989, it has built a solid reputation for rigorous, expert financial reporting.

Since 2008, Cinco Días has also organized the Cinco Días Awards for Business Innovation, which recognize the best corporate and managerial initiatives across different industries.

In 2024, the merger of EL PAÍS and Cinco Días created one of the largest Spanish-language business and financial news platforms, delivering comprehensive content for senior executives, small business owners, consumers, academics, and investors.
