Fernando Carrillo Flórez is First Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Lead Independent Director, Member of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Nominations, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee, and Member of the Sustainability Committee.
Fernando Carrillo Flórez holds degrees in Law and Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, a Master's in Law and Public Finance from Harvard University, and a Master's in Public Policy and Administration from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
His career has included the posts of Colombian Ambassador to Spain, Minister of Justice and Minister of the Interior of Colombia in various administrations, Director of the National Legal Defense Agency, and IDB Representative in Paris and Brazil. He served as Attorney General of Colombia from 2017 to 2021.
Fernando Carrillo has also taught at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Sciences Po Paris, among others. He is the author of more than 15 books and 80 articles on democracy, governance and judicial reform.
