Javier Ruiz

CFO of PRISA

Javier Ruiz holds a degree in Economics and Law from ICADE (E-3) and has completed an Executive Development Programme (PDD) at IESE. He began his professional career at Crédit Agricole Group, but soon moved to Arthur Andersen as team leader for the Technology and Communications Sector. In 2003, he joined PRISA as Management Control Director of Grupo Dédalo and later held the positions of Chief Operating Officer at PRISA Tecnología and Chief Financial Officer at PRISA Noticias. In 2021, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of PRISA Media, where he led projects to integrate the financial function across the Group’s press and radio businesses. From September 2024 to May 2025, he served as Director of Risk and Management Control for the Group. In May 2025, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of PRISA.
