David Bisbal and Maluma set to perform at the LOS40 MUSIC AWARDS

• The artists join the lineup that already includes Robbie Williams,  Michael Bublé, Maná, J Balvin, Juanes, Jason Derulo, Dani Martin and Leiva 
• Manuel Carrasco, Enrique Iglesias, Leiva, Adele, Coldplay and Justin Bieber lead the list of nominees
• Miguel Bosé will attend as ambassador of the aids charity,  Lucha Contra SIDA foundation, which this year’s music awards are actively supporting

LOS40 have announced that David Bisbal and Maluma are to join the lineup for the LOS40 Music Awards, to be held on December 1 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

 The LOS40 Music Awards gala is set to be the music event of the year, as the broadcaster celebrates its 50th Anniversary, and the star-studded lineup includes Robbie Williams, Michael Bublé, Maná, J balvin, Juanes, Jason Derulo, Dani Martín and Leiva. Fans of radio show Anda Ya were the first to learn of David Bisbal’s upcoming appearance, with the performer just the latest to join the slate of performers – with Maluma also confirming a performance.

 David Bisbal is one of Spain’s most successful international artists, having won the acclaim of both fans and the critics over the course of his 15-year career. Since taking the music scene by storm in 2002, he has sold more than five million albums and has earned two diamond discs, as well as 60 platinums and golds. The music industry has honored him with more than 60 prizes, among them a Grammy Latino, a number of Latino Billboards and two Premios Ondas awards.

 David Bisbal today debuted his new single Antes que no, composed with the Argentine Claudia Brant, and produced by Grammy winner Jeeves, ahead of the release of his wildly anticipated album to be released at the end of the year.

 Aged just 22, Maluma, the No. 1 urban artist, has fast become one of the top acts on the music scene thanks to hits such as La temperatura, Obsesión, Borro Casette (double platinum), El perdedor (platinum) and Sin contrato. With more than 40.5 million fans on social media and 2.7 billion hits on Youtube, Maluma has previously worked with Ricky Martin and Danny Romero.

 These are just the latest two additions to the LOS40 Music Awards, which honor the work of the most outstanding artists of the year, are now the leading such prizes in the music industry in Spain and Latin America. Nominees for the prizes were announced on October 5. Voting is now open at LOS40.COM and will close on November 16 at 11.59 pm.

 Meanwhile, Los40 Music Awards continue to help good causes. This year, Los40 is lending its support to the AIDS charity Fundación Lucha contra el SIDA, and its campaign aimed at young people, that includes a wide range of initiatives aimed at prevention and awareness of HIV transmission, the first step to eradicating the disease. What’s more, part of the proceeds from the sale of tickets for the awards gala, to be held on December 1 - World AIDS Day - will be donated to the prestigious foundation  founded and chaired by Dr. Bonaventura Clotet. Attending the gala will be Miguel Bosé, ambassador and active collaborator of the foundation and in its fight against AIDS.
