Santillana hosts the Saber Hacer forum, focussed on training and educational innovation

The Saber Hacer Forum: Commitment to education is a wide-ranging program of presentations aimed at teachers, school principals and coordinators of schools in different Spanish cities. The goal is to explore and discuss the role of the teacher, to clarify any doubts that may arise from the implementation of the LOMCE (Spanish education law) and to help them incorporate new technologies in the classroom. In addition, teachers have the opportunity to hear firsthand the opinions of teaching experts and prestigious speakers from other disciplines, such as the philosopher Fernando Savater and Father Angel, from Mensajeros de la Paz, who were among the guest speakers during the past school year.

During the month of February there were briefings curricular scheduling and assessment as required by the LOMCE, held at secondary schools in Aranjuez and Parla (Madrid). The forum also hosts a series of events that during the months of March and April:

- March 17: Antonio Luis Alarcón, education expert and director of Institutional Relations at Santillana will provide a briefing on the LOMCE at the Torreforum Cultural Center (Torrelodones, Madrid).

- March 17: Javier Urra, education expert, therapist, professor of UCM and clinical director of the program for parents and children in conflict "RecURRA GINSO", will give the talk "Education as a vital process" at the Parador San Marcos (León) and at the Palacio de Congresos Conde Ansúrez (Valladolid).

- March 19: Alejandro Tiana Ferrer, rector of the National University of Distance Learning and former Secretary General of Education, will give the presentation “The construction of student success” at Club Diario de Mallorca, in Palma de Mallorca.

- April 25: Presentation "Happy teachers have better ideas" by Ismael Pantaleon, director of Ideas Infinitas, and a trainer specialized in creativity and team development. In addition, Emilio Calatayud, lawyer, writer and juvenile court judge of Granada, known for his exemplary rulings, will give the talk "Education and Justice: educating in rights and duties".
