AS launches app for the 2015 Copa America football championship

AS is to offer all users of Android and IOS a new app, bringing football fans all the news from the 2015 Copa America football tournament. The championship is the biggest of its kind for teams from Latin America, and is being held this year in Chile from June 11 to July 4.

The new app, Copa America ‘15, is available at Google Play and the App Store and allows users to keep up to date with all the news and action from the football championship. The app also deploys, on mobile and tablet devices, the heavyweight statistical arsenal from AS and provides information on all the players.

As well as news on the championship, photo galleries, videos of goals and game highlights, the new AS app also offers users match schedules, player comparisons, results and instantly updated rankings, a carrousel featuring all the goals, and qualifier tables. The app also features an alert service to keep fans up to date on goals and results.

AS boasts a special edition for the Americas, AS America, in addition to issues in Chile and Colombia. The launch of this app is a further sign of AS’s commitment to meet the demands of users in the Americas and represents a step forward in the sports paper’s commitment to improve its range of digital products.
