The winners of the awards, now in their third year and sponsored by PRISA's business and finance daily Cinco Dias, were announced on October 14 in Madrid. Around 100 projects competed for the prestigious awards.

The prizes, launched two years ago on the occasion of the newspaper's 30th anniversary, are sponsored by La Caixa and Repsol.

Prizewinners will receive a commemorative sculpture by Cristina Iglesias at the ceremony to be held on November 4 at Madrid's Circulo de Bellas Artes.
