CANAL + packs in more football league action than ever for the 2011-12 season

The biggest games of the season will be coming to CANAL +, each Sunday in 2011-12 at 8pm, with the channel set to broadcast the big Real Madrid-Barcelona matches. CANAL + will broadcast 22 games this season, including the two league heavyweights (6 more than last season). The first games of the season on CANAL + are Malaga-Barcelona and Zaragoza-Real Madrid  on Sunday August 21 and Sunday August 28.

Today also sees the launch of  CANAL + Liga 2, a new channel that will broadcast 5 Liga BBVA matches live every weekend. CANAL + Liga and the new CANAL + Liga 2 will show 8 games every weekend (3 games on CANAL + Liga and 5 on CANAL + Liga 2) for just 16.95 euros / month. Together, CANAL + Liga and  CANAL + Liga 2 double all the football action, not just with the big Barcelona-Madrid games, but with all the top matches in the league.

PRISA TV and Mediapro have signed a deal that is set to boost CANAL + Spanish football league broadcasts for the 2011-2012 season.
