CANAL+ scores 15 Golden Globes

CANAL+ has once again triumphed at the Golden Globes, the prestigious Hollywood awards for cinema and television. In the category of TV series, Boardwalk Empire, Martin Scorsese's hit HBO show broadcast in Spain by CANAL+, won two major awards, a Golden Globe for Best Drama Series and Best Actor in a Drama for Steve Buscemi. Also winning awards were The Big C (Best Actress in a Comedy for Laura Linney) due to air soon on CANAL+, and the miniseries already broadcast by CANAL+ Temple Grandin (Best Actress in a Miniseries for Claire Danes) and You don't know Jack (Best Actor in a Miniseries for Al Pacino).

In the film category, the night's big winner was The Social Network, which traces the birth of Facebook. David Fincher's film, which CANAL+ will air in the coming months, won four Golden Globes: Best Picture, Best Director for Fincher, Best Screenplay for Aaron Sorkin and Best Soundrack for Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Colin Firth, meanwhile, took the award for Best Actor in a Drama for The King's Speech, which is also to be broadcast by CANAL+ soon.

Also picking up prizes were The Kids Are All Right (Best Musical or Comedy and Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for Annette Bening), Black Swan (Best Actress for Natalie Portman), Burlesque (Best Song for "You haven't seen the last of me ") and Toy Stoy 3 (Best Animated Film). All set to air on CANAL+ in the coming months.
