Creativity and humor honored at the Ondas awards

Cadena SER's Radio Barcelona has announced the winners (October 16) of the 56th annual Premios Ondas awards, Spain's oldest and most prestigious radio and television awards.

A total of 23 prizes are given out across a range of categories recognizing the most outstanding national and international professionals, companies and projects, from the worlds of radio and TV, advertising and music.

The awards ceremony will take place in Barcelona on November 4 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.It will be presented by Carles Francino and Àngels Barceló, and broadcast by Cuatro.

For the second year running, the public will be voting for the Dewar's White Label Character Award - given to the TV personality with the strongest character. The three contenders for this year's prize are Lluís Homar, Eduardo Noriega and Blanca Portillo.
