Cuatro, Sogecable's free-to-air channel, owned by PRISA, has had its best season to date - with an average audience share of 8.8%. The channel has beaten all its own records across all time slots and in all of its targets.

The channel saw increases in the afternoon and prime-time slots as compared to the previous season. At the weekends, Cuatro is the channel to have enjoyed the greatest boost in audience share, up 1.6% over the previous period to 8.8%. Late afternoon films have contributed to the rise with Home Cinema achieving an 8% share.
