El País, AS, Canal + Yomvi and MeriStation team up to provide live coverage of the E3 video-game trade fair in Los Angeles

MeriStation.com, Prisa’s games portal, will for the third year running be the only Spanish media outlet to bring Spanish speakers all the most important events live from the most important video-game trade fair in the industry, the E3 in Los Angeles. Thanks to a strategic synergy, AS and El País users can also enjoy the special live programming, including talks and debates in the run-up to each press conference from Madrid, reports from our correspondents in California, commentary in Spanish and subsequent discussion for each of the key events and press conferences at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The agenda includes five programs broadcast at the following times:

Thursday 6th, 18:00: Konami Press Conference

Monday, 10 16:30: Microsoft Press Conference

Monday, 10, 21:00: Electronic Arts Press Conference

Tuesday 11th, 1:30: SONY Press Conference

Tuesday 11th, 14:30: Nintendo Direct

After the live broadcasts have concluded, they will be immediately available for viewing on demand, at MeriStation.com and subsequently at Canal +’s Yomvi. The digital content platform will additionally have a Special E3 2013 which will include interviews with key developers, opinion and reports about the event.

The E3 is the largest video-game trade fair in the world and is held at the Convention Center in Los Angeles from June 10 to 13. This edition will see the debut of the next-generation consoles, Xbox One from Microsoft, PlayStation 4 and Wii U from Nintendo.
