EL PAÍS organizes the conference ‘Investing in Peru’

The newspapers EL PAÍS and Peru’s La Republica are to host a one-day conference in which experts will discuss
business opportunities in Peru. The President of the  Republic of Peru, Ollanta Humala, is due to speak at the event.

The conference will be opened by Javier Moreno, Editor-in-chief of EL PAÍS, and Gustavo Mohme, President of La Republica. Luis Miguel Castilla Rubio, Peru’s Finance Minister will give the first talk. Other speakers include Luis Miguel Castilla Rubio, Peru’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism; Josep Bagué Prats, General Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of AGBAR; Humberto Campodonico, President of Petroperu; Héctor René Rodríguez, Executive Director of Proinversión; Santiago Fernández Valbuena, Chairman of Telefónica Latinoamérica; Nemesio Fernández-Cuesta, Executive Director of of Repsol Upstream, and Vicente Rodero, BBVA’s Director for South America. In addition, Rafael Roncagliolo, Peru's Foreign Minister, will be interviewed by his son, the writer Santiago Roncagliolo.

The event will take place at the Antiguo Casino de Madrid (c/de Alcalá, 15) on Thursday, January 26 at 9am.
