Launch of 0034 Código Expat, a news and information portal for Spaniards living abroad

Everyone knows someone who lives abroad and, increasingly more and more people are setting up their home outside our borders. Expatriates, globetrotters, emigrants ... even though they might be living far away, sooner or later always end up dialling the Spanish telephone prefix, 0034, because they are eager to maintain a link with their place of origin.

0034 Código Expat is a website that provides information and services to Spaniards living abroad and those who are thinking of making the move. This project is born from the experience of several expatriates, and aims to offer support and generate a sense of community.

www.0034expat.com is a portal that deals with issues affecting emigrants in their day-to-day lives, with a mix of information, humor and psychology. It also includes a directory of websites, blogs, services and people abroad. At 0034, users can find content such as changes in visa policy in a particular country, the challenges and opportunities of being parents abroad, and tips for a having good conversation on Skype without driving people crazy, among others.

www.0034expat.com is created by a team of professionals who have been emigrants themselves and, drawing on their personal experience, are eager to work with this group. This project has the support of PRISA INN, Grupo PRISA’s start-ups accelerator, and is sponsored by PRISA Noticias (El País, Cinco Días, As…).
