ODEON-UCI OWNED CINEMAS CINESA CINEMAS AND CANAL+ JOIN TOGETHER FOR VIDEO-ON-DEMAND SERVICE

• Two leaders of the Spanish leisure market join forces so that customers can enjoy the greatest films, whenever, wherever and however they want

•  The new service from YOMVI will be available from the 15th November and will allow subscribers to access a comprehensive online video club with the best content in film and TV series. Users will also benefit from many CINESA advantages

•  YOMVI will offer a Film and TV Series subscription fee for just 7.95€ + VAT/month, with no contract commitment, where customers will have the option to test the service with a free 1-month trial

ODEON UCI Cinemas, Europe’s number one cinema chain in total screen count, has today announced that CINESA (Compañía de Iniciativas y Espectáculos, S.A.) has signed a commercial agreement with CANAL+ offering customers exclusive on demand film and TV series content online via YOMVI, a new service from CANAL+.

YOMVI, the digital service offered by CANAL+, gives customers three flexible options to watch video-on-demand content online; Subscription, a monthly flat fee allowing customers to watch unlimited film and TV series; Taquilla, a pay-per-view option enabling customers to pick and choose the content they want to watch and Live TV.

The service, which will be available to CINESA customers from November (visit www.cinesa.es) will provide access to premium online content from CANAL+ through YOMVI. Customers will have access to a ‘Total Cinema Experience’ - all of the latest films, and much more, wherever and whenever they want.

The new service will offer two subscription options which can be purchased individually or bolted together offering the perfect complementary content:

• Pack Movies/Series: Flat fee 7,95€+VAT per month:

Customers will be able to watch a wide range of content even earlier than competitive services offer, including the latest films, TV series and documentaries (no locked-in subscription timeframe):

• The best films
• Trend-setting TV series
• The most prestigious documentaries
• And, live CANAL+2with the best Premium content of Canal+

• Pack League: Flat fee 14,95€+VAT per month:

Customers will be able to enjoy the best football including:

• 8 matches of BBVA League (Spanish Premier League) every week through the channel CANAL+ League
• All Champions League matches

As well as these two subscription options, customers will also have the option to watch and pay for individual content under Taquilla, a pay-per-view service meaning customerswill only have to pay for the content they want to watch. This service will give access to:

• The best and latest films, newly released from the cinema
• The highest quality Spanish and Champions League football matches

YOMVI also offers a catalogue of over 2,000 films from all major distributors, independent directors and the latest Spanish releases; together with award winning TV series and the best documentaries. YOMVI customers will be able to watch the latest content ahead of competitive services and soon after their release date, offering CINESA customers the chance to enjoy releases they have not yet seen at the cinema. YOMVI also offers the best sport service available, providing customers with the biggest matches of the season.

Access to YOMVI in CINESA

Access to the service is easy. Customers should enter the CINESA home page (www.cinesa.es) and from there, there will be direct access to the best catalogue of latest film releases, TV series, documentaries and live soccer, under the YOMVI service.

As well as this service, CINESA customers will also be able to check cinema time schedules, take advantage of many promotions and add points to their Cinesacard account (CINESA loyalty card). This service will therefore offer customers a range of advantages through purchases, including exclusive benefits and discounts for their next visit to the cinemas.

CINESA users will be able to access YOMVI through a PC or laptop connected to the Internet, and gradually, the service will be available via other devices.
