Plural Entertainment restructures to develop new business worldwide

Nathalie García joins the company as Spain´s MD (Managing Director) and Carlos Benito is the new COO (Chief Operating Officer)

Plural Entertainment has reorganized its structure to focus it on the internationalization of the company and the development of new business.

Nathalie García has joined Plural as the new MD in Spain, to reinforce the presence of the company in the national and international audiovisual market and to face the retraining of the Spanish television.   In this changeable situation, Plural´s main objective will be the creation of effective and high quality fiction and entertainment formats destined to the national market and to export. For this task, as part of Grupo Prisa, Plural will rely on the synergy generated by the communication company.

Carlos Benito has been designed COO of Plural Entertainment. This appointment is part of the reorganization of the company channelled to the expansion outside Spain and Portugal. Latin America will be the main objective of this multinational strategy, counting with the support of Plural delegations at the United States and Brazil. Plural Entertainment will explore also new possibilities at the audiovisual market apart from the production of entertainment and fiction.

Nathalie García graduated in Economics and Social Sciences. She began her professional career in 1990 at the production company Tesauro, where she was responsible of the coproduction area. Between 1995 and 1998 she worked as Sales Manager for Spain, later becoming Senior Vicepresident for Spain at Sony Pictures Television International. She took charge of the new SPTI office in Spain and was responsible of the Columbia Pictures products sales. In 2005, she launched the production activity of the company as she was Sony Pictures TV CEO in Spain.

She joined Grupo Vértice 360 as General Manager of the TV area in 2007 and, until her incorporation to Plural, she was the Content General Manager of Vértice 360 and CEO of Notro, the production company of the group.

Carlos Benito graduated in Journalism by the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. He began his professional career at the newspaper ABC and Europa Press Television. Between 1992 and 1999 he worked in Telecinco as news producer and between 1998 and 2000, he was the coordinator of the means of production at Atlas Spain and later, he was responsible of Broadcast Services.

He joined Grupo Prisa in 2000 as Production Manager at Canal Plus Spain. One year later he was appointed Production Manager at Sogecable and later of Cuatro. He was in charge of V-me integration at the Prisa audiovisual unit and of Cuatro integration at Mediaset.
