PRISA and Samsung launch a convergence app for AS

In a clear commitment to technological innovation and communication with their users via their range of digital platforms, PRISA and Samsung have developed an innovative application for sports paper AS that allows content sharing between mobile devices and, exclusively, Samsung’s Smart TVs.

Thus, Samsung device users can now enjoy all the best sports content live on their tablets or smartphones.  What’s more, they’ll also be able to share content in real-time with their Smart TV. They may also watch content on the big screen for maximum image quality, and play it on their blu-ray or Smart home cinema. The result is a much more engaging sports experience and one that is, for the first time, convergent.

Thanks to the new AS app, users of compatible Samsung devices will be able to enjoy at any time and in the screen format of their choice all the best sports news, including videos and football basketball and racing news,... plus up-to-the-minute sports bulletins and opinion from the best known commentators on the national scene.

Boasting an innovative design and offering an interactive multi-screen experience, the new AS app also brings users the most popular content, such as the daily sports paper’s front page, the official twitter accounts of the newspaper’s writers, and the results and classifications of national and international matches and competitions.
