PRISA TV sells headquarters

PRISA today finalized the sale of the building where the Group runs its audiovisual operations, in the Madrid suburb of Tres Cantos (Avenida de los Artesanos número 6), to Flagland Spain, controlled by WP Carey, the global investment management company. The sale price amounted to EUR 80 million and the leaseback agreement is for a period of 20 years.

PRISA has entered into sale lease transactions before - in 2008 it carried out one such operation for its three main buildings: the headquarters of the Group in Gran Vía, Madrid, the offices of newspaper El País in Madrid and the the headquarters of Cadena SER in Barcelona.
