PROGRESA launches iSport, a new men’s lifestyle magazine

PROGRESA, Grupo Prisa's magazine-publishing arm, launches an ambitious new title on March 7 called iSport (& Style Magazine). Distributed free as a supplement with As, it's a men's lifestyle publication based around sport.

Alejandro Elortegui, director general of PROGRESA, is the director of  iSport, a magazine aimed at members of the the "i" generation: they're innovative, intelligent and interested in how they look. They look after their bodies, want to have a good time and are always ready for the next challenge.

Throughout the magazines 128 lavish pages, readers will find news and reports from the world of sport, fashion, technology, sports goods, as well as a comprehensive what's-on guide to sports events for the month.

In the first issue, iSport takes a look at David Beckham's arrival in Los Angeles, how a generation of mountain climbers conquered the Himalayas, and how Hollywood stars keep in shape. There's a feature on the most attractive WTA tennis players and a report on extreme sport base jumping. There's also a review of the season's fashion trends and the latest on fitness and nutrition.
