Silvia Velasco, new director of the Digital and Multimedia area PRISA Brand Solutions

Since September 1, Silvia Velasco has been part of the management team of PRISA Brand Solutions, owned by PRISA, as Director of Digital and Multimedia area, replacing Gustavo Garcia, who has recently left the company.

Velasco has a degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an MBA from IESE, She has extensive international experience in the field of management, strategy and marketing in the digital sector, where she has led teams at different companies operating on the Internet.

Silvia Velasco joins PRISA Brand Solutions from Adnetik, a company specializing in the purchase of digital media. She was previously managing director of Tradedoubler for Spain and Portugal for three years. She has worked for companies as diverse as Orange - where she held management positions in the Multimedia Contents area, HR and new business -  and McKinsey, as a partner, head of development of telecommunications.

In her  new position at PRISA Brand Solutions, Silvia Velasco will report directly to the Director-General, Felipe de Lucas, and will join the Management Committee composed of Jose Antonio Revilla (Manager of Print Media), José Luis García (Manager of Radio), Miguel Angel Sanz ( Manager of Audiovisual and Regional Media), Mercedes Otálora (Delegations Manager), M ª Jesús Solaun ( Marketing and Commercial Operations Manager) and Carlos Perez (General Management).
