Sogecable acquires full rights to FIFA 2010 World Cup

Grupo Prisa's Sogecable has acquired all audiovisual rights for Spain to the next FIFA World Cup to be held in South Africa in 2010.

Sogecable's satellite platform Digital+ will broadcast all World Cup games, the majority of them in the high definition system that Digital+ launched this year in Spain, proving once again that it is a pioneer at the forefront of state-of-the-art technology.
