The Ondas pay tribute to the rigor of Cadena SER's current affairs program Hoy por Hoy

The winners of the 57th edition of the Premios Ondas Awards were announced on Wednesday November 3, 2010, during a press conference held at the Estudio Toreski at Radio Barcelona (Cadena SER). More than 750 nominees from 15 countries were in the running for the prizes. The Ondas Awards are Spain's oldest and most prestigious radio and television awards and have the official support of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

SER's Radio Barcelona announced the winners across 23 categories, honoring professionals, businesses, and the year's most outstanding national and international endeavors in the world of radio, television, advertising, film and music.

The national and international juries, consisting of thirty professionals from radio, advertising, television and music, chose the following winners:

The awards ceremony will take place during a gala evening to be held on November 19 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and will be broadcast by TV channel Cuatro.

For the third year running, the winner of the Dewar's Personality Award will also be announced at the awards gala. This is given to the individual with the greatest audiovisual presence and is voted by the public. This year's three finalists are: Jordi Evole, Paco León and Eduardo Noriega.
