Guillermo de Juanes is named CFO of PRISA

PRISA’S Board of Directors,  which met today in Madrid, has approved the appointment of Guillermo de Juanes Montmeterme as the Group’s new Chief Financial Officer, following a favorable report from the Appointments and Remuneration Committee. Juanes will be leading the Group’s financial strategy as well as coordinating all Group companies in this area. He replaces Fernando Albacete Martinez, who left the company in May for personal reasons.

Guillermo Juanes has worked in the Finance Department at PRISA since 2012, where he has actively contributed to the Group’s refinancing process and has been involved in all company capital operations over this period.

PRISA would like to thank Fernando Martinez, who has developed his entire professional career at PRISA in a wide range of positions of responsibility, and always with exemplary efficiency.

Guillermo de Juanes has had a wide and varied career in the field of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, as well as debt restructuring. He graduated in Economics and International Business from ICADE, and he has a law degree from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He previously held a number of important posts in investment banking at Credit Suisse, where he worked for 12 years in both London and Madrid. Until his appointment today as CFO of PRISA, Guillermo de Juanes held the position of Director of Finance and Corporate Operations.
