25 thousand fans turn out for the awards ceremony for the Premios 40 America 2014

For the second year running the chart-music broadcaster 40 Principales paid tribute to the best of music in English and Spanish in Latin America, with the Premios 40 America Awards - Buenos Aires 2014, handing out fifteen categories -- fourteen of them chosen by the public at Premios40America.los40.com. Media and press from a range of Latin American countries such as Chile, Paraguay, Ecuador, Guatemala and Argentina were on hand for the Red Carpet coverage, where music stars such as  Juanes, David Bisbal, and Axel rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tan Bionica, Train, Tokio Hotel and Coti.

The event was broadcast via videostreaming from 6.30pm at http://www.los40principales.com.ar/ and HTV.

The gala show was opened by the singer Axel who treated fans to his greatest hits.

A host of celebrities took part in the event, including Emilia Attias, Oriana Sabattini and Benjamin Rojas. And the presenters included 40 Principales Argentina radio show hosts Juani Martinez, Ivan de Pineda and German Paoloski.

More than 25,000 fans rocked in the aisles as the performers showed off their talents on stage. TRAIN thrilled the crowd with one of their greatest hits "Hey Soul Sister"; Coti, meanwhile,simply delighted the audience with a medley accompanied by the beguiling sound of a ukulele.

Tokio Hotel, Flo Rida, Francisca Valenzuela, J.Balvin and Tan Bionica also enlivened one of the hottest events of the year in Buenos Aires, as a way of saying thanks to the thousands of fans who had come from far and wide and had been camping outside the venue from the very early hours.

David Bisbal and Juanes, two of the most wildly anticipated and lauded acts of the night, also wowed the crowd with their greatest hits.

The Premios 40 America Awards - Buenos Aires 2014, climaxed with a grand finale, with DJ Luis Lopez getting the 25 thousand-strong crowd up on their feet, jumping, dancing and enjoying one of the best parties of the year.
