A triumphant night out for the Cadena Dial Awards 2012

The Cadena Dial Awards Gala has once again proved an enormous success. The big winners of this year’s event, held at the "Adán Martín" Auditorium of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, included Miguel Bosé, Pablo Alborán, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Sergio Dalma, Álex Ubago, Manuel Carrasco, Franco De Vita, Malú, Salvador Beltrán, Thalía, Jesse & Joy, El Arrebato, Merche and Melendi.

Director Juan Antonio Bayona won the Special Award for promoting Spanish culture beyond our borders. The filmmaker was handed his award by Alejandro Nieto, managing director of SER.

As the only awards to honor music in Spanish, Prisa Radio’s Cadena Dial Awards are renowned throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

The proceeds from the sale of tickets to the seventeenth edition of the awards will go to social projects run by the organizations ‘Asociación Padre Laraña’  and “La Milagrosa’.
