Buenos Aires hosts the second edition of the ‘Premios 40 America’ Awards

Enrique Iglesias, Romeo Santos and Prince Royce lead the nominations, followed by Carlos Vives, Daft Punk and Calvin Harris.

Music radio network 40 Principales is set to honor, for the second year running, the best of music in English and Spanish in Latin America with the Premios 40 America Awards - Buenos Aires 2014. The awards are given out across fifteen categories, divided up primarily by language and area of origin; fourteen of the award winners will be chosen by popular vote through www.Premios40America.los40.com while a jury will choose the remaining winners. Voting opens at midnight (local time in Buenos Aires) on September 24 and closes at 11.59 pm (local time in Buenos Aires) on October 28.

Romeo Santos, Enrique Iglesias, and Prince Royce are ahead with three nominations each; Carlos Vives, Calvin Harris and Daft Punk have each garnered two nominations. The Premios 40 America Awards - Buenos Aires 2014 will be given out at the Awards Gala to be held on November 13 at the Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires (Argentina). The awards were created by PRISA Radio through all its 40 Principales music stations in Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Mexico.
