Elena Sánchez Ramos joins PRISA Digital

The till now Director of the content at TV channel Cuatro has embarked on a new chapter in her career by joining the Digital PRISA team - led Kamal Bherwan - as Change Manager

Digital PRISA is the driving force behind the global transformation of PRISA's business model and the integration of all the Group's business units by means of digital technology.This transformation marks the beginning of a new strategy and will contribute to the Group's growth in Latin America and the U.S..

Elena Sanchez will be responsible for coordinating this transformation among the digital teams and the print media, radio stations, audiovisual companies and PRISA publishers in Spain and internationally. She will also design and develop, with the PRISA Digital team, new digital opportunities for the Group.

Elena Sanchez, who has a degree in Philology and a Masters in Journalism from the UAM /El Pais journalism program, has had a successful career in television for 18 years. She was part the founding team responsible for the design and launch of Cuatro, and was Director of Content since the channel went on air until last December 2010.

Sánchez Ramos was also Director of Canal + for more than four years. Before
joining PRISA in 2001, she was Director of News Services at Telemadrid, where  she was head of programming for three years and where she directed the show Madrid Directo.
