Kalipedia and Panda Security team up to promote responsible internet use by minors

Kalipedia, Prisacom's online educational encyclopedia, has signed a deal with Panda Security, to participate in the campaign Minors Online, Child's Play? aimed at promoting safe and responsible internet use by minors. Kalipedia is lending its support to the Spanish security multinational by informing its 2.8 million users, chiefly teachers, parents and students of the initiative.

A number of tips are given via the campaign's web page on how to shield children from the dangers of using the internet badly. Safety and security solutions are provided to parents and educators.

Kalipedia is a free, vibrant, interactive site where knowledge and experiences may be shared in a safe and protected environment. It has adopted a series of measures aimed at protecting children, such as obligatory registration and limited access for under 14-year-olds, as well as those protecting the confidentiality of the user. It also carries out regular evaluations of uploaded content in order to guarantee the reliability of the information to which users have access.
