The education and training section, which is almost three years old, is focused on educational innovation, especially at the university level. Its goal is to guide and help future students find the educational and career pathways that best suit their professional aspirations.

With the title Transforming Schools, the ninth edition of the ITworldEdu conference, held in Barcelona on March 21 and 22, addressed the transformation of educational methodologies through technology. There was a wide range of presentations, roundtables and workshops geared towards the educational community.

The personalization of learning methods and advances in neurolearning took center stage, with contributions from speakers such as César Coll, professor of Psychology for Education at the University of Barcelona, and José Ramón Gamo, child neuropsychologist and director of the Masters in Neurolearning at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
