Oxfam GB gives award to Caracol Social for supporting the project 'Farmers Markets'

The project "Farmers Markets" led by Oxfam GB, has honored Caracol Social for their support of markets in Bogotá, an initiative that allows farmers to offer their products directly to the Colombian capital and cut out the middle man.

'Farmers Markets' involves more than 2,500 farmers in the departments of Boyaca, Cundinamarca, Meta and Tolima, and seeks to help producers to sell their products directly to consumers and thus stimulate agricultural production. The farmers offer fresh, quality products at the best prices in different squares in Bogota.
