PRISA Radio apps in Spain reach over half a million downloads through the Apple Store

In less than a year since their launch in 2010, PRISA Radio apps in Spain have clocked up over half a million downloads through the Apple Store.

iPhone and iPad apps for PRISA Radio's major brands such as Cadena SER, Los 40 Principales, Carrusel Deportivo, Cadena DIAL and Ona FM have exceeded all expectations to reach the the figure of 531,000 downloads.

These applications, the majority of which are free, allow users to listen to the radio on their iPhones and iPads. The apps also provide information on what's playing, all the latest on top performers and bands, music charts, news, podcasts, videos, sports results, and live updates
