Radio Continental wins two Martin Fierro Awards

Radio Continental, PRISA Radio’s station in Argentina, has been honored at the Martin Fierro Awards, which pay tribute to excellence in radio and television in Argentina. 

The awards are organized by the Association of  Argentinian Television and Radio Journalists ( APTRA ), organization made up of the the most important professionals on the Argentinian radio and television scene. The awards ceremony took place on August 5, with Radio Continental taking home two awards. 

The first award went to to Magdalena Ruiz Guiñazú, host of the magazine-format show Magdalena Tempranísimo, who won the prize for excellence in journalism. Meanwhile, Florencia Ibáñez, presenter of  A Vivir, was honored for best female voice in Radio.
