26-06-2015

It will feature a musical mix of universal music hits in Spanish and English for four decades.

Fresh and innovative, VIVA Radio, broadcasting on 90.7 FM, will be bringing listeners the most iconic hits from the past four decades, accompanying them throughout the day with the soundtrack of their lives.

The station will be serving up an irresistible cocktail of top hits from Latin music history and the English-speaking world.

"We’ve created an ideal formula for audiences 35 and older, both men and women, by giving them, every day, a compilation of top worldwide hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s," says Marfer Torres, head of music content for Prisa Radio in Costa Rica.

The new radio station boasts a bold and broad playlist ranging from Frank Sinatra to Michael Bubleé and from Camilo Sesto to Rossana. Music fans can also enjoy boleros, by Julio Iglesias Luis Miguel and Maná; and there’ll be plenty for trova fans too as well as a bohemian touch, with Serrat, Sabina, Miguel Rios and Ana Belén, as well as Pablo Milanes and Silvio Rodriguez.
