As part of its corporate social responsibility program, on Tuesday October 2, publishing house Santillana signed a collaboration agreement with the Fundación Integra aimed at furthering a comprehensive initiative involving mutual support to encourage reading among children aged up to 4 who belong to its network of centers.
Sergio Dominguez, executive director of the Fundación Integra and Mauricio Montenegro, managing director of Santillana, signed the agreement which will see both institutions jointly develop educational games and materials for children in the foundation and their families. The agreement aims to give new impetus to the promotion of reading, and also foresees the organizing of conferences, symposiums and training programs, such as the International Readers Training Program for Early Learners.
