Sports daily AS arrives in Colombia

08-04-2014

Starting Monday, the print edition of AS will be offering a double-page feature in Colombia, in partnership with El Tiempo, one of the sports paper’s chief allies in South America and the most widely distributed and sold paper in Colombia. Every Monday El Tiempo readers will be able to enjoy the best of exclusive AS content in a weekly two-page supplement, which was first published today.

Real Madrid’s efforts to win the league title, the lacklustre run of Leo Messi against Simeone’s Atletico, the wise words of Adrian on the return to the Champions against Barca and Alfredo Relaño’s analysis on the misfortune dogging Barcelona of late are just some of the stories offered by AS to readers of El Tiempo today.

AS offers Colombian readers all the best stories, analysis, writers, graphics and photographs -- content with a proven track record and that has made AS the third-ranking newspaper in Spain.

With this new print agreement, AS continues to expand its presence and operations in the Americas and strengthens its digital strategy. AS has partnerships with nine major media in Latin America: Televisa Deportes (Mexico), El Tiempo (Colombia), La Tercera (Chile) , Canchallena-La Nacion (Argentina), Libero (Peru), El Universo (Ecuador), Meridian (Venezuela) and the El Caribe (Dominican Republic).
