The 40 Principales Awards promote culture and creativity among disadvantaged youth

12-12-2014

The music world’s biggest night -- the 40 Principales Awards gala -- is fast approaching. This year’s event takes place on December 12 at the Barclaycard Center in Madrid, and once again the 40 Principales Awards are set to help a good cause, with proceeds from the gala going to the foundation VOCES and its campaign "Creators against Social Exclusion". This initiative promotes culture and creativity through music among disadvantaged youth at risk of social exclusion and supports creators in situations of financial need.

The project will organize workshops all over Spain aimed at teaching young people different aspects of music and the creative process: composition, performance, production and the dissemination of works created during the workshops. The training sessions will be led by instructors with extensive experience in the world of music and who’ll be devoting their talents and their time to young people.
