The Ondas Awards creates for the first time ever special awards voted by the public

Media fans will be able to vote for best communicator and best program from a list of nominees chosen by a panel of experts

<p style="text-align: justify;">For the first time ever, and to mark the 60th anniversary of the Ondas Awards two special awards have been established, with the winners chosen by public vote. Media fans will be able to vote for best communicator and best program. The list of nominees, chosen by a panel of experts and specialists  includes programs and broadcasters who have won the Ondas awards over the past 60 years. Nominees in the category of best communicator are <em>Miguel Gila, Joaquín Luqui, Antonio Calderón, José María García, Encarna Sánchez, Bobby Deglané, Matías Prats, Luis del Olmo, Joaquín Soler Serrano, Iñaki Gabilondo, Jesús Hermida and Chicho Ibáñez Serrador</em>. Nominees for the best program are <em>‘Cabalgata fin de semana’, ‘Telediario’, ‘Carrusel Deportivo’, ‘El consultorio de Elena Francis’, ‘Un, dos, tres’, ‘El gran musical’, ‘El Larguero’, ‘La Clave’, ‘Informe semanal’, ‘Encarna de noche’,  ‘Teatro del aire’, ‘Hora 25’, ‘Hoy por Hoy’ and ‘Protagonistas’</em>.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Voting opened on October 8 and remains open until October 27 at Premiosondas.com, where users can vote for their favorites. The names of the three finalists in each category will be announced on November 6 on the program <em>La Ventana</em>, with the winners revealed at the Awards Gala at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
