03-09-2014

LIBER, the International Book Fair, is to celebrate its 32nd edition from October 1 to 3 in Barcelona. The event is fast becoming the most important book fair in Spain.

‘A vivir que son dos días’, the weekend magazine program broadcast by Cadena SER and led by Javier del Pino, will be among those to be honored with an award by the Book Fair, for its space 'The Reading Club' -- which reviews books and literature. Oscar Lopez gives a round-up of all the latest books and reviews some of the classics of world literature, and authors also visit the program studio to talk about their new books and the world of literature. The Reading Club, which has seen the number of members grow year on year, also offers readers the opportunity to participate by allowing them to share their opinions on books and reading.

LIBER will also pay tribute to Jose Manuel Lara, president of the Grupo Planeta, Antonio Muñoz Molina, the TV adaptation of the novel 'El tiempo entre costuras', the Antonio Machado bookstores, Cartagena’s public libraries, and Ana Maria Matute.
