30-11-2010

The Spanish Network for the UN Global Compact has paid tribute to the high level of implementation at PRISA of the Ten Principles that the UN Compact outlines for the advancement and integration of Corporate Social Responsibilty policies in the management of companies.

PRISA, which signed up to the United Nations Global Compact in 2008, presented last November its Progress Report, a document that enables Global Compact signatories to illustrate their commitment to respect and defend, both in their operations as well as in their strategy, the Ten Principles of conduct and action in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and combating corruption, which Kofi Annan set out in 1999 to promote engagement with businesses.

The United Nations, as well as evaluating and approving the report presented by PRISA, congratulated the corporate headquarters for the quality of the information enclosed, the organization of the document and the initiatives undertaken by the company and its various business units.

PRISA, the future is here.
